MWE China Law Partner Nominated to the Advisory Board of the E-Center


The E-Center, a leading European not-for-profit think tank for legal security in the field of E-Commerce and Mobile Business based in Austria, has formally invited MWE China Law Offices partner, Henry (Litong) Chen, to serve on its international advisory board.

The E-Center is the largest European platform that advises and provides legal assistance in the matters of information and communication technology. It provides advanced information through contact points at central European key locations and is surrounded by an advisory board of prominent and highly qualified individuals, who both identify with the goals of the E-Center and stand for legal security.

The E-Center’s advisory board is composed of over 60 members from around the world. They include the President of the Austrian Superior Administrative Court (VwGH), judges of the Austrian Supreme Court (OGH), Members of Parliament, legal experts, senior staff of regulatory and supervisory authorities and many others.

Further, the E-Center works with some of the largest European telecommunication/technology companies such as A1 Telekom Austria, DAS, Erste Bank, First Data, Hutchison 3G Austria, MBO-Media, Orange, Raiffeisen Informatik, T-Mobile, Telering, Wolf Theiss and many other prominent companies to promote future legal developments in this field.

As the only practicing lawyer from China serving on its advisory board, Henry Chen will serve as an important bridge between the nexus of European and China legal concerns in the developing field of E-Commerce and Mobile Business.
