Our founders are well established Chinese lawyers and possess an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the local laws, customs and regulations of the People’s Republic of China. With a Western- style approach to client service, we manage to provide legal services and business advice to both Chinese companies and multinational companies doing business in China.
John is a leading lawyer in the areas of foreign direct investment, venture capital financing, private equity investment, intellectual property law and international arbitration and litigation. A Ford Foundation Fellow, he earned his J.D. from the University of California, Hastings College of the Law and his LL.M. from the University of California in Los Angeles. He is a graduate of the East China University of Political Science and Law, where he earned LL.B. and LL.M. degrees.
Kevin has practiced law for both U.S. and China-based law firms and served as in-house counsel for two global companies with operations in China. He is a leading lawyer in the areas of financial, corporate, commercial and intellectual property law. He earned his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School and his LL.M. from the East China University of Political Science and Law. He is also a graduate of Fudan University, where he earned his LL.B.
